Factory QC
Factory Quality Control (QC) is the most operationally intensive part of Svasti’s manufacturing cycle.
We audit each batch using streamlined inspection protocols derived from
AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards, garment engineering rules, and high-precision measurement
systems. The QC process verifies stitching density, seam integrity, color consistency, pattern accuracy,
thread strength, button alignment, and overall garment construction.
Our QC approach mirrors practices used by high-performance workwear and military textile factories —
ensuring reliable fit, durability, and appearance across all production runs.
Checks Included
- • SPI (stitches per inch) verification per garment category
- • Seam reinforcement analysis at high-stress zones
- • Panel alignment and pattern-matching accuracy
- • Trim quality checks (buttons, labels, plackets, threads)
- • Fabric defect detection (slubs, holes, misweaves)
- • Measurement checks against digital tech packs
- • Color uniformity evaluation under calibrated lighting
Best For
- • Consistent batch production
- • Stitch-sensitive garments like shirts and trousers
- • Knits with high movement/stretch
- • Garments prone to alignment issues
- • Any batch requiring measurement precision
How We Perform the QC
Every production batch undergoes multi-layer inspection:
Inline QC tracks garments during sewing to detect early errors.
Midline QC examines partially assembled garments for alignment and
stitch accuracy.
Final QC measures finished garments against approved size charts,
verifies trims, checks color consistency, and ensures no visual defects remain.
This layered auditing reduces error propagation and maintains Svasti’s construction standards across all factories.
What It Means for Your Garments
Factory QC ensures garment reliability, accurate fit, clean finishing, and structural resilience. It reduces stitching defects, prevents sizing inconsistencies, and eliminates poor reinforcement work. This leads to longer-lasting clothing with consistent feel and appearance — batch after batch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does every garment get inspected?
Yes. We use AQL-based sampling plus full checks on critical categories like shirts and trousers.
What issues does QC usually catch?
Misaligned seams, incorrect SPI, loose threads, trimming errors, color variation, panel distortion and measurement variance.
